The French Collection stems from Claire's recent artist residency at Chateau de Bouthonvillier near Dangeau in France. Claire’s work is an intuitive representation of the landscape inspired by the Autumnal trees and skies seen while touring the local chateaus and exploring Paris.
"Presented with two whole weeks of creative freedom, I wandered the gardens and forests, noted the foliage, colours and tree clusters so different from the Australian landscapes I had been painting. I'm so grateful for this experience and it's a pleasure to share this collection"
